Spent Easter weekend at this classic hotel nestled in the mountains. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, with 24-hour room service and a well-maintained public bath. the onsen was a highlight, with Bulgari soap that smelled great. the scenery is breathtaking and it's easy to take the public bus to the hotel from the city.
The drive up the mountain to the hotel is definitely not for the faint of heart, with some roads being quite narrow and winding. there weren't many activities to do at the hotel besides enjoying the beautiful scenery and using the onsen.

Located in a secluded area of lush green mountains, this hotel is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet. You can enjoy a traditional Japanese dinner at the atmospheric restaurant filled with the warmth of dim lighting, where the chef handpicked the freshest ingredients for a delightful meal. the hotel is located near the first national park boasting stunning views of nature. It's a great base for anyone who wants to explore the scenic Nagasaki area.
The hotel's onsen facility was a bit outdated and could use some refurbishing.

This hotel offered a unique experience with its European architecture and a glimpse into a bygone era. The onsen baths were enjoyable after a long day of sightseeing. The location was convenient, just a short walk from restaurants and shops.
The lack of an elevator made it difficult to navigate the building, especially for elderly or disabled guests. The staff struggled with their English, which made it challenging to communicate effectively.
